Each situation is different and full automation is not always desirable, or even always possible. In these cases, ChannelCenter provides a manual provisioning option to accommodate those channel businesses which would need to, or even prefer to use it.

In such cases the provisioning engine allows users to define the email address of the person that will be providing the product assets during the product setup. Once the product is purchased, the defined contact is mailed by the system and directed to a page where the required assets can be entered. The assets are then sent directly to the purchaser and notifications are sent to all relevant parties that provisioning has been fulfilled.

Distributors and vendors can define, configure and customise the assets being delivered to the user upon purchase, such as license keys or login details. This flexibility improves the accuracy of the manual provisioning process and removes an administrative burden from the recipient.

Users can set the contact that receives the email to provision the product either on a per product basis, or on a global level, meaning one contact can be designated to receive all manual provisioning emails if so desired. This acts as a potential control measure, directing all queries to one designated resource who can act appropriately as required.

Enjoy the benefits of a digital workflow and centralised product delivery

Fulfilment Interface

Vendors receive an email when a product is purchased, and log onto a platform screen which allows them to input the assets which the user will require to access the product. The screen is secured and only available until the assets have been captured and sent.

Fulfilment Notifications

Platform users are notified once payment is made, as well as when the product is available, eliminating any potential delays due to information lag. Purchasing users can log directly into the platform from this email while the distributor, reseller or vendor, are informed that the products have been delivered and the order is complete, which is then reflected in their individual platform areas.

Asset Delivery

End-users receive notifications that their products are available on the platform, upon which they can log in directly from their fulfilment completion email to gain access to them. The manual provisioning process facilitates centralisation of all customer details and purchases on the platform, ensuring that the end-customer has easy access to all their purchased products
in future.
