Manage channel margins and optimise product delivery
to customers

Resellers engaged in Microsoft’s CSP programme can enjoy full integration into the CSP partner platform, with ChannelCenter’s platform giving resellers management and control across Office 365, Azure and Dynamics software. The platform caters for both subscription and consumption use-case models, adding flexibility from a license management and billing perspective.

Due to changes in the CSP programme introduced by Microsoft in 2018, it is now a reseller requirement to possess and transact via platform software when engaging with the CSP programme.

Group Marketplace

Due to consolidation within the IT channel industry, large resellers may have a group structure and and various subsidiary operating companies (OPCOs). For these instances, ChannelCenter has created a group marketplace feature where OPCO products can be loaded into a central location and where each OPCO can resell products and services from other OPCOs within the group.

End-Customer Platform

With an increased focus on delivering end-customer satisfaction, ChannelCenter has made this a priority for resellers wanting to provide a superior customer experience.

The white-labelled, customisable platform enables resellers and end-customers to apply their own corporate identity and branding to their system portals and ecommerce environments. Customers can self-service via a single ‘pane-of-glass’ and shop across multiple product categories.

License Management

As the IT channel and its distributed technologies have progressed, so various business revenue models have changed as well. Technological progression has given rise to cloud and software concepts such cloud and license management.

Managing software licenses has thus become a major component of channel operations due to its growth as an annuity revenue stream, one which is comprising an ever-larger proportion of overall business revenue.

Platform Functionality

The ChannelCenter platform contains a wealth of standard features and functionality of use to resellers. Below are some of the major areas where resellers can derive benefit from utilising the channel platform.

Resellers are well-equipped to manage their channel billing activity via the platform. A financial dashboard gives users a quick view of overall transactional totals and gross profit achieved, as well as the ability to view various income types and divisions. Resellers can manage their payments and channel credit with their business partners, and can plan and control their budgets as well.

The Marketplace is intended as a tool to aid resellers in the quoting process and consists of a searchable repository of product information including product descriptions, images and relevant information documents to assist with product identification and cross-referencing. Platform customers can search, view, manage and order products and services using an online shopping cart functionality.

By providing resellers with a comprehensive database of products along with specs for comparison purposes, and incorporating a quote to order workflow, the Marketplace feature drives automated customer adoption
and onboarding.

Sales Automation

ChannelCenter’s platform enables complete automated order management and fulfilment. The entire procedure is managed digitally and in real-time, meaning information, payment and product flows are instantaneous and always-on. Efficiency and accuracy throughout the distribution process is improved, passing on cost and time savings to all channel intermediaries, including resellers.

The cloud-based platform-as-a-service (PaaS) nature of ChannelCenter results in a highly configurable platform which doesn’t necessitate development work by the customer, making for swift and efficient onboarding. The platform caters for a broad scope of resellers with ESD, MSP and cloud enablement, and offers a great customer experience, with resellers being able to generate quotes and orders simply and quickly.
